Week 12 Weigh In Results with Photos!

Well, it appears that my fears of having a bad week were all for nothing.  I had my appointment this morning at the Medi-Weightloss Clinic and was down 2.6 lbs for a total loss (to date) of 41.9 lbs in 12 weeks!  And thats not even the best news.  This week my fat mass was down 4.4 lbs also AND my BMI is finally under 40!  So even though I thought I had blown it, I did just fine anyway.  And thats with having a pasta breakdown last night and eating exactly 10 pieces of whole wheat penne with pink vodka sauce.  I had to get it out of my system, I kept craving pasta and was making it for the hubby and a guest.  Now that Ive had it again... I wasnt terribly impressed.  I think I can wait another 12 weeks before thinking about it again.

AND this morning I put on my 2nd pair of size 20 jeans that didnt fit when I bought them a couple of weeks ago!  Theyre still snug through the hips but theyll loosen over the course of the day anyway and probably be fine within a few hours. 

Overall Im very happy that my stressful week and stress eating didnt set me back.  Theres a valuable lesson to be learned here... not every day is going to be conducive to staying on a strict eating plan but if you can give yourself some temporary boundaries that work with your restrictions then you can still succeed in the long run!

Here are some full body photos of my progress after 12 weeks, compare to my previous blog post Day 13 from February where the last photo posted was from my vacation in Maine last 4th of July... that shows basically where my body weight was when I started on Medi-Weightloss (or at least within 5-10 lbs).  Sorry Im not all dolled up but this is how I look on a day-to-day basis.  Ill worry about vanity after Im out of plus size clothing!
