Day 14

Today marks the end of my 2nd week on Medi-Weightloss.  I have my 2nd weigh-in on Saturday and I cannot wait to see the results.  Ive been faithfully staying within my protein calories, sticking with my single serving each of fruits and veggies each day, and allowing myself a healthy fat (almonds) 3 times/week (this week anyway) so Im pretty confident that my results on Saturday will be significant, especially considering Ive made a good effort to get at least 20 minutes of exercise each day as well. 

Not to mention Im still drinking a gallon of water every day... and getting more used to that being a part of my daily routine.

Todays lunch is fabulous.  Im rolling up 3 oz of sliced turkey with 3 romaine lettuce leafs and spicy mustard.  Yum!  I also have 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese waiting in the wings if Im still hungry after this because I didnt need a snack this morning.  I wasnt really hungry until about half an hour ago!  My breakfast this morning really hit the spot.  I had the previously posted omelet (minus the 2nd piece of turkey bacon on the side) plus 1/2 of a ruby red grapefruit and my tummy was SUPER happy!  I think the grapefruit made a big difference because theyre so high in fiber. 

Last night I also continued my quest to better my self-esteem by purchasing the 3 step Olay Regenerist starter pack from Target.  Facial cleanser, lotion & eye serum.  This is partially in response to my recent 30th birthday and partially because Ive noticed that my face just hasnt had that healthy "glow" lately.  On my 30th birthday I was met with two co-workers guessing that it was my 35th birthday and then I was carded for my Polynesian beverage when going out to dinner at Kowloon... so I had a conflicting experience on my birthday and I really want people to start guessing that Im younger than I actually am instead of older.  Ive used the combo pack twice so far and am really liking the results!  I had no idea what to buy so Im glad the gamble didnt end in disaster (like some freak allergy)!

Anyone want to take any guesses as to how much weight I will have lost this week?  If I were going to guess, Id say probably 4-5 lbs.  But I wont be disappointed if its less as long as Im losing!
